WHO WE ARE

50/50 Fitness/Nutrition “A Balanced Approach to Health & Wellness ”50/50 Fitness/Nutrition wasn’t established simply because we ran out of space or were just looking to expand on our class/PT offerings. We’re completely revitalizing our systems and rebranding to ensure that people really get the “full” Energia experience. But what does that mean? A lot of what we provide our clients with is extremely unique, almost unexplainable in a way. Every client is different. We all learn differently, respond differently to various methods of teaching, and obtain very different results. Our method of coaching and relationship building takes the average training experience and drives it where other trainers, other gyms won’t go. We take a big picture approach and truly recognize that one workout or series of workouts just isn’t enough. We expound on that by constantly assessing and determining individual need and by continuing to raise the bar higher, while teaching and educating every step of the way. We look at injuries, muscular imbalances, flexibility, strength, cardiovascular health, and nutrition. More importantly, we determine where you stand, where you could stand to see improvements, and where we fit in. We’re in constant communication, committed to you and your success, every step of the way.

One of our biggest initiatives with the new space is to begin to bridge the gap between healthcare professionals (i.e. doctors, nutritionists, physical therapists, massage therapists, etc.) and fitness professionals. There is so much information and misinformation out there, so what does he/she do when deciding to finally get healthy? These people are our biggest advocates when it comes to making that first step. But what is that first step? And what if it’s the wrong one? We meet with every new client to discuss our program in detail. We don’t prescribe diets, we don’t promise instant results, and we don’t injure anyone. What we do offer is a renewed sense of balance, a promise for lifestyle change, and a community of support unlike any other.

 

Our Fitness Training Philosophy…

No two bodies are the same. Everyone reacts differently to food and activity. Subsequently, every workout and meal plan has to be geared to meet those needs. It takes more than an hour or two each week with your trainer to really see the results you crave. When we engage with you, we stay in touch throughout the week, checking in on your progress, monitoring nutrition, and helping plan physical activity outside of our sessions.

Our services go well beyond the “session” to look at the big picture, supporting you in the ways you need.

A “diet” is temporary. New habits that are healthy and personally appropriate require professional attention. When they’re carefully assembled just for you and slowly added over time, they can be sustainable for the long term.

Habits can be changed with dedication and support. It takes time, but when it’s done right, you can eat until you’re satisfied and develop changes that you can maintain.

Personal training with us is a learning experience, which will ultimately give you the tools you need to live a healthy lifestyle and feel great about it!

For these reasons, with all of our clients, we include additional services for no charge, including online diet monitoring (using a free website), nutritional guidance, and regular support. We encourage questions and make ourselves available to you as needed. We promise, you’re never in it alone!
