Want to walk up and down stairs and move across uneven ground more confidently? Improve your balance and strength while at home this summer!
Focused Balance and Strength is a 4-week virtual program created for older adults (65+) that will improve mobility, stability, and flexibility. The program also aims to create a sense of community and instill a spirit of fun during the group’s time together each week. Each class will begin with a gentle warm up followed by a variety of strength, balance, and stretching exercises. All exercises will be modified as needed to ensure the challenge level is appropriate for each participant. No equipment is needed, and all exercises can be done in standing or seated positions. All you need is a chair and online access to join the virtual class on Zoom. Starts Tuesday, July 14, 2020.

Who is it for?

Anyone 65+ who wants to improve their strength and balance. Exercises are no-impact and will be modified to meet different individuals’ needs.
