Jay McWilliams

Jay McWilliams has a long-standing passion for fitness and wellness. Jay uses this passion to connect youth, adults, and everyone in between to their inner power of self-efficacy for better goal attainment. Jay enjoys serving our community members in meaningful ways through personal training, small group fitness, and fun energizing group exercise classes. Jay focuses his expertise in coaching individuals and groups by introducing them to new habits of physical fitness, and the power of making healthy choices, as well as motivating them to be the best they can be. Jay’s training philosophy includes the belief that anyone and everyone can train their body like an athlete, and the Targeted Strength and Conditioning Program reflects this and has created impressive strength gains and fitness results in its participants. In personal training, Jay is a strong believer in custom developing fitness plans that address muscle imbalances and mobility issues, allowing clients to move beyond these limitations to become overall fitter and healthier.

Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Arkansas, and a Master of Science degree in Recreation Administration from George Williams College in Wisconsin. In his free time, Jay enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping, and mountain biking with his wife Rose.

Katie Lipsmeyer

Katie was born and raised in Little Rock, AR, and received her bachelor’s degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. She lived in Austin and Galveston, TX, for several years before moving to Western Mass in April 2013 and couldn’t be happier about her move. She loves the multitude of outdoor offerings of the Pioneer Valley, including road biking, hiking, camping, and exploring the beautiful, quaint towns of New England.

Having a lifelong passion for health and wellness, Katie is on a mission to help others achieve their fitness and nutrition goals and has devoted herself to personal and group training. She takes a mindful approach to fitness and will challenge you to realize your inner strength, both physically and mentally. She strives to balance her compassionate nature while inspiring her clients to reach their individual potential.
