Bob Kuzmeski, M.Ed, ATC, LAT, is a certified athletic trainer who has been involved with athletic and fitness activities for most of his life. His professional interests lie with injury prevention and rehabilitation to keep people healthy, so they have the opportunity to get the most out of every day.
Bob has an extensive background working with a wide variety of athletes and active individuals, including youth, high school, collegiate and Olympic caliber athletes. He wants to use the skills he has learned with these groups to create functional exercise programs for people who are interested in maintaining or improving their fitness, or recovering from injuries they may have sustained.
Joins the Team
Bob is excited to be a part of 50/50 because it is a community that values an exceptional fitness experience. He wants to bring that level of service to those individuals who are working to return to their previous level of activity, following an injury or surgery. Bob thinks it is important to take the time to explain the process involved with the injury – possible causes, what is involved with correcting the injury and discussing strategies to make sure the injury doesn’t return.
Work at UMass
Bob is in the 17th year of working with the athletes at the University of Massachusetts. He currently works with the men’s lacrosse team and men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams. He received both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Springfield College. His bachelor’s degree is health fitness with a concentration in athletic training. His master’s degree is in health science.
Bob enjoys biking, running, swimming, hiking and camping.
